The Aromatic Character of Mastic Coffee
This coffee is prepared with ground Arabica coffee, coffee creamer, cocoa and mastic. The mastic adds a fresh, aromatic touch to the coffee's deep body, while the creamer lends a softer feel to each sip.
Simmered over low heat in a cezve, it releases an aromatic foam and a subtly sweet aroma. Whether taken sweet, lightly sweetened or plain is left to the drinker's own taste.
Ingredients and Warning Information
The product is prepared with coffee creamer, ground Arabica coffee, cocoa and mastic. It contains milk and dairy products; as it contains high amounts of caffeine, it is not recommended for children or pregnant or breastfeeding women.
Since the coffee creamer contains milk protein, those with a milk allergy should take care; there may be trace contact with nuts. The mastic and cocoa add aromatic depth without masking the taste of the coffee.
Brewing and Preparation
For each cup, about two teaspoons (6-7 g) of coffee is added to the cezve with drinking water measured out by the cup, then simmered over low heat until it foams. As the blend already contains creamer, it makes for a smooth cup with no need to add milk.
Storage Recommendation
To keep the coffee's aroma for as long as possible, store the package tightly closed in a cool, dry place. Sealing it firmly after opening slows the loss of the mastic aroma.
